Bartosz: "Fougère perfume is a classic accord, in which the balance between the herbal, fresh lavender note and the sweet, warm-herbal, hint of spice-tobacco-nut coumarin, embedded in a woody-moss base.

The first perfumes of this class were created in 1882 - Fougère Royal Paula Parquet - considered a turning point in the history of perfumery - for the first time the synthetic ingredient - coumarin was used. Coumarin occurs naturally in plants, but in the synthetic version it was much cheaper and allowed to control its amount in perfumes, which in the case of coumarin, as a component of a complex natural substance, is not so obvious.

Fougère Jan Barba is a completely natural version, the coumarin note was achieved by using the absolute of the plant in which it occurs.

The perfume was inspired by conversations with my friend, perfume lover, who introduced me to this fragrance family. "

Originally, this fragrance was unisex, but from the 1970s it began to be considered masculine by associating it with shaving. We present it as a curiosity, because we consider assigning perfumes to gender as a marketing procedure and only up to the person, it should depend on what fragrance is to accompany him.

Among the product photos we also included those related to decoration on the window display our store. As a celebration of introduction of Fougère, a nose appeared on the display window, with a literal scent that grew out of it, turned green and bloomed. It refers to the name, fougère in French means fern , and to one of the fragrance notes. It was inspired by an illustration from Bartosz's notebook and was made by Marta.

The perfume label was made on cotton paper, with a black letterpress technique, and a hot stamping gold frame. Both prints were made on over a hundred-year-old printing machines from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Our bottles come from the north of France, where there are manufactories producing semi-handmade perfume bottles in the world, except for China.

The bag added to the perfume, sewn and printed in Warsaw, is 100% made of cotton, tightened with a cotton string without a nylon inside.

Natural perfumes, unlike synthetic perfumes, not only offer a much richer olfactory experience to their owner / owner, but also have aromatherapeutic properties due to the content of natural essential oils.

Our "Parfum" perfumes stay on the skin for about 5 hours. All our perfumes are devoid of aroma enhancers, its durability and range. Natural perfumes are created for the holder / wearer and not for the environment. The natural fragrance persists in our private area and is a discreet highlight of our personality.
